My Passion Started
…after a 5-year battle with anorexia nervosa. I grew up loving sports and movement, but as a teenager, calories became my obsession. I severely restricted my intake while trying to burn as much as possible, which eventually led me into treatment and inpatient care. Through that process, I had to relearn how to nourish my body and train with a healthy, balanced mindset.
Looking back, I’m grateful for what I went through because it shaped both my perspective and my career path. It taught me the importance of balance, sustainability, and respecting the body rather than punishing it.
I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Since then, I’ve continued expanding my education through courses in Corrective Exercise, Behavior Change, Performance Enhancement, and various nutrition courses. I’m currently working to be certified in Sports Performance Training as well as a Sports Nutritionist through NASM.
I grew up as a competitive swimmer, which instilled discipline and a deep love for performance. I began lifting consistently at 17 while working the front desk at Gold’s Gym, where I quickly fell in love with strength training. Over time, lifting taught me how to take up space, build confidence, and step into a stronger version of myself.
It has now been nearly a decade that I’ve been immersed in fitness and coaching. My mission is to help others experience the same sense of healing, confidence, and freedom that health and wellness has given me.
In a fitness world full of noise and extremes, my goal is to lead with truth, education, and longevity. Helping people build results that actually last.
